An enormous, dream project for me...2 years in the making!
The 4 foot studio model of the Enterprise D, originally built by master model maker Greg Jein, has been recreated using parts cast from the original production moulds. Over the past 2 years I've been painstakingly restoring a set of original casts and building this faithful recreation of the original 4' filming model, with the help of Star Trek archivist Gary Kerr, ILM model maker John Goodson and graphic artist Karl Tate.
Heartfelt and sincere thanks to Jason Joiner, Lee Stringer, and all at the National Film & Sci-Fi Muesum here in the UK, for trusting me with this mammoth project.

This set of resin upgrade parts address some of the major inaccuracies of the stock kit and add much improved detailing. The set, totalling 78 parts, includes:
6 X replacement pylon "shoulders"
3 X replacement main docking ports
9 X replacement secondary docking ports
60 X docking ring sensor pallet insert parts,
including parts for missing details on the stock kit
