Galaxy Class Paint Mask sets

The sets are made using the highest quality professional grade automotive Oramask 810 masking vinyl, and are available in 2 options:

Complete 4 colour “Generations” Aztec (18 vinyl sheets + transfer sheets)

2 colour TV series version (6 vinyl sheets + transfer sheets)

I’ve tried to make these as accurate to the 6’ filming miniature as possible whilst still conforming to the inaccurate stock kit parts. Obviously, some concessions and compromises have had to be made, but the masks can be modified easily enough by builders who make the extensive modifications needed to the stock parts to make the finished model more accurate. The sets include masks for both the stock kit dorsal part and the MPM accurate upgrade part (sold separately).

4-Tone "Generations" Aztec Paint Mask Set
2-Tone TV Series Aztec Paint Mask Set
A comprehensive set of resin upgrades designed to be used with AMT/Round2's 1/1400 scale Enterprise D kit, which improve accuracy and add various missing details from the stock kit parts. They are cast in opaque and/or translucent urethane resin (for lighting purposes) and are designed to either totally replace, or be grafted onto, the stock kit parts with minimal difficulty. Some preparation of the parts will be necessary (washing away mould release, trimming excess flash etc) before use.
The dorsal upgrade features a separately cast main impulse engine insert part. This enables the builder to isolate & "light block" the part from the surrounding dorsal, allowing greater optional control over lighting the engine (e.g separately switched/triggered by a micro-controller etc).

Complete nacelles set designed to replace the inaccurate stock kit parts entirely. Cast in clear polyurethane resin to enable lighting, with all details, contours, and proportions accurately reproducing the 6’ studio model nacelles as seen in Star Trek: Generations. The nacelle bodies are cast in matched pairs, identified for port and starboard, and are made of just two parts each (top and bottom) with absolute minimal seam work required after assembly. The bussard collectors are cast in one piece from translucent polyurethane resin, eliminating the ugly seams through the baffles seen on the stock kit parts.
The set also includes pre-cut vinyl masks for masking the grilles for painting. The nacelles can be assembled and then painted whole, or each half can be painted first and assembled after, depending on your own preference and lighting needs. The included vinyl paint masks provide options for both methods, with two versions of masks for the flared portion of the grille – whole masks if assembling first and then painting or divided as per the separate parts if painting before assembly.

4' TNG Phaser Strips
These replacement phaser strip parts are designed to be used with AMT/Round2's 1/1400 scale Enterprise D kit. Mastered in CAD by Andrew Skupinski, these phaser parts accurately recreate the phaser strips as they appeared on the 4' filming model for “Star Trek TNG” and are cast in white polyurethane resin. The set includes replacements for all phaser strips, including the top of the dorsal hull for those who want to have their model displayed with the saucer separated.
The can also be lit from beneath using LED’s to recreate the phaser firing effect seen in the TV series.
Generations Phaser Strips
These replacement phaser strip parts are designed to be used with AMT/Round2's 1/1400 scale Enterprise D kit. Mastered in CAD by Jeff Goldsack at JG Modelworks, these phaser parts recreate the surface detailing as they appeared in “Star Trek – Generations” and are cast in white polyurethane resin. The set includes replacements for all phaser strips, including the top of the dorsal hull for those who want to have their model displayed with the saucer separated.
The can also be lit from beneath using LED’s to recreate the phaser firing effect seen in the TV series, and movie “Star Trek: Generations”.
